Six Flags Qiddiya City Guide: Falcon’s Flight, Rides, Official Tickets and Opening Hours
Six Flags Qiddiya City (سيكس فلاقز مدينة القدية) is a theme park near Riyadh with a strong emphasis on large thrill rides. Its setting beside the Tuwaiq escarpment gives the visit a distinctive landscape, while themed lands provide a mix of intense rides and family attractions.
What Makes the Park Worth Visiting?
Qiddiya lists 28 rides and attractions across six lands, including ten thrill rides and eighteen family attractions. Its signature is Falcon’s Flight, which the developer describes as the world’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster.
Other headline attractions offer different sensations. Iron Rattler is a tilt coaster, Spitfire uses a triple-launch concept, Gyrospin is a pendulum ride, and Sirocco Tower is a shot tower. Visitors who dislike one type of movement should assess the individual rides rather than treating all thrill attractions as similar.
Understand the Six Lands
- The Citadel: the park’s grand architectural setting and visitor services.
- City of Thrills: associated with Falcon’s Flight and Sirocco Tower.
- Discovery Springs: water-themed attractions, including Into the Deep.
- Steam Town: an industrial theme and Iron Rattler.
- Valley of Fortune: an adventure setting and Spitfire.
- Grand Exposition: a carnival-inspired environment and Gyrospin.
Official Tickets and Opening Information
Checked on 21 September 2026; times are Saudi time, UTC+3. The official webook ticket listing displayed 3:00 PM–1:00 AM. An indexed page from the park’s own website displayed 4:00 PM–midnight. Because these displays differ, neither should be treated as a universal daily timetable.
Confirm the chosen date through the official park website and the ticket calendar before finalising transport.
Plan around Your Group’s Priorities
For a group mainly interested in coasters, agree on a short priority list before entering. Check the operating status of those rides and arrange the rest of the visit around them. A park admission ticket cannot guarantee that every attraction will operate continuously.
For families, begin with the children’s heights and comfort levels. The label “family attraction” does not mean that every child can ride. Admission categories and ride eligibility are separate checks, and adult accompaniment requirements can differ between attractions.
Mixed groups benefit from agreeing on meeting points and breaks. Someone who prefers gentler attractions should not spend the entire visit waiting outside the largest coaster queues.
What to Arrange before Arrival
Choose secure footwear and a practical way to store loose belongings. Review the park’s rules for bags, clothing, food and ride storage. If accessibility support is needed, ask about the intended attractions before booking; park access and transfer into a ride vehicle are different considerations.
Leave sufficient time for the return to Riyadh. After a late park visit, a demanding early departure the following morning may reduce the value of both days.
For water rides and pools, compare Aquarabia. For other developments, read the Qiddiya City overview.
